To 2015

2015

I like to try and recap a year just for memories good measure.
We traveled a bit. Between family reunions and Disneyland and cabin getaways we saw a thing or two.
I continued my first experience of a career type job.
Dale graduated and also started nursing school.
We unintentionally became a small used car lot. (5 different cars we've had this year...)
We welcomed our new baby eve and celebrated 3 years with mary.
There was a lot of in between time that was uneventful while I was growing a human and recovering from giving birth to that same perfect human.
I can't say 2015 was a favorite, but it holds one event that will always be my favorite. April 1st we welcomed our lovely eve.
I would deal with all the sad and hard days of the year and of countless years just so I could have that one day forever.
To say I'm grateful and ecstatic and overwhelmed with goodness on account of eve wouldn't even begin to describe how perfectly I feel towards and about her.
She is exceptional.
2015 held a lot of sadness for me, and many others I love.
It's sadness that's inked through to 2016 and will imprint all the remaining years of me.
I lost my 3 remaining grandparents in just over 3 months.
Loneliness from losing them was found in unsent Christmas cards and ungiven gifts.
An emptiness adorned the whole holiday season.
2015 was one of those years.
A roller coaster.
The greatest of joys and sorrows.
I'm looking forward to 2016.
Hoping I'll find more time to write,
More time to love,
More time to take time,
And more time to see and do things I've never done before.
Hip hip to 2016.
