The Easy Goer
The other day some said, and I quote, "Monique's just so calm and easy going."
After hearing this statement I immediately congratulated my deceptability.
You see, I do try to put on a calm and easy going front, but I'm never sure if I'm succeeding.
I feel like there's usually a raging torrent inside me,
one I'm constantly trying to suppress.
Upon hearing this statement, I relished my success in making at least one person believe I was what I constantly strive to portray.
It's the little things, the tiny victories, that really keep us going.
