macy's presents santaland 2013
when i was a kid i had heard of going to see santa at macy's in new york city
that miracle on 34th street really puts in a lovely plug for the department store
since me sitting on santa's lap is a little inappropriate
we made a kid to live our dreams
so mares went to santaland (along with her parents and grandparents)
it was magical (mostly for her mother)
family entrance pic
puffy haired daughter/mommy bond sesh
santaland arrival
a sweet holiday tree to the left
gingerbread extravaganza to the right
then a snow choir
a train/city scene that rocked the joint
the rainbow bridge was fabulous in every way
i want one in every hall of my house....
wait right now that would be my living room/kitchen/hall
sly pic taking
mares needed a santaland snack/nap
naturally she would be napping....
we awoke this bear cub from her slumber
santa was around the bend
finest postal box in the city
(sorry mom.... maybe it's usps ran)
another candid pic....
(mares and dale are always on to my tricks)
nutcracker stuffed animal version
lip balm chewing was the must do event in santaland
bond sesh in the "land"
this santa's helper wanted to be in a pic.
the deer were what i was after....
crazy globe of electronics
we arrived and it felt so good
north pole village
(written in elfin script)
then came the santa meeting
he offered his finger
she wouldn't take it
so we sat in as a family
mares was still unsure
she started feeling comfortable
then we nailed her with santa bonding
(he was equally pleased)
we may have to take mary to every santa in the city.... just to temper her.
santaland was a lovely holiday extravaganza.
hope your santa experiences are awesome (like ours was....)

The snow scenes above are BEAUTIFUL! And I love your Santa adventure! Somehow Christmas just doesn't seem as grand back in Utah now.
