the radio city christmas spectacular

october 2nd i bought tickets to see this holiday christmas spectacular
dale's parents were coming into town;
we went to eat saturday before the show
i look at the tickets
they are for friday.
written on the tickets
      -no exchanges
      -no refunds
insta emotional overhaul
sadness
anger
embarrassment
regret
wonder
dale's dad steps in with sound advice
go to the box office and see if they will do anything

they did
and with the kindest response
which surprised me in this brute of a city
which instantly became a kind city because of its hospitable people-
no extra charge
our seats were closer than our previously purchased ones
their response, "we want you to see the show too, let's see what we can do."
i recommend seeing anything at the radio city music hall
i am now advocate #1

i am glad they "want(ed) us to see the show" because it was something spectacular (for lack of a better word)

the beginning

mares loved the show

except when santa was alone

then she got nervous

the nutcracker

in massive bear costumes

impressive

 lights everywhere in the theatre

 midway through large snowflakes floating overhead

my favorite part

the nativity like i have never seen it

beautiful costumes

a camel, a donkey, and a pack of sheep (alive)

the loveliest rendition of the real reason for this beautiful season

i think this may be the most impressive show i have ever seen.
the solider part with their meticulous line formations was unlike anything i have seen. (the crowd went crazy)
all of the costumes and renditions of holiday classics left me in wonder
the representation of the nativity left me awestruck.
-grateful for dales parents for coming into town and treating us. we had the greatest of times because of them.-
