boston part 3

i got a bit side tracked from my blogging for a bit.
there are a. lot. of things i don't want to forget so welcome to the world of intermingling back posts with present posts- - the confusing realm of time mixture.
we spent one more lovely day in boston.
it started with a bit of fenway park exploring.
then we went on the hunt for some souvenirs- which took us back past those lovely historic sites.
after our exploring we met up with the ellett's (jordan, shelby, and kai) at the boston commons splash pad.
there's nothing finer than meeting up with fellow small town alumni in east coast cities.
it's real nice to see familiar faces far from home.
here's a few pics from our last day in boston.
1st fenway
this field really is beautiful
they have kept all of it old school looking- which makes it extra awesome in every way
teeny mares loves to snooze during exceptional outings.
dale got his game face on
and another pic of the stadium because all 360 degrees of it is lovely
we got this lovely view when we peaked inside a stadium restaurant
then we headed back to town
we saw this little beauty
supposedly all distances in boston are measured from this stone
extra fascinating for my history loving brain
boston really loves to spice things up
mary really liked this "rainbow" crosswalk
then teeny mares needed an aquatic break
so we gave it to her
that cutest kai was extra kind to mares
even when she hug body slammed him into the splash pond
the height restriction on this baby was 42 inches.....
which equals toddler depression
boston really needs to loosen up on their carousel height requirements
 mares diaper was massive
which equaled a sweet ghetto booty
i think it's extra adorable,
but i'm pretty sure i'm the bane of all the other pond parents
this was a lovely finale to our boston trip.
i was still sick... blah, but i'm glad we got to see this great city.
our trip ride back was an interesting one.
our bus driver "detoured" us through new jersey... aka we made one massively huge circle to get into the city.
then it was raining when we got off the bus- i about broke down and purchased a taxi.
those last few weeks in nyc i was getting extra unfrugal.
we arrived back at our teeny apartment to realize we had taken both the keys to the apartment we stayed in- including one set that had the mail key on it so we couldn't mail them back....
extra glad we have good friends that will help us with some extra inconvenient situations.
after this trip our attention and focus turned to moving- - and depressing started setting in quick.

thank you boston for the lovely mid-week vacation.

happy weekend everyone!
