new year's eve 2014

welcome 2015.
2014 showed us a lot, gave us lots to learn about, and changed our situation multiple times.
we decided to take a more relaxed approach to new year's eve this year.
just a mini dale, mary, and me party.
we got all the regular party goods;
cheese ball,
relish items,
sparkling cider of multiple varieties,
lil' smokies.
pretty much all the essentials in the snacking food department.
a bit before we were going to start our party we got an invite to eat at rodizio grill with dale's sister, brother-in-law, and their daughter ivy (whom is 6 days younger than mary).
(well dale ate; i had eaten before soo.... fifty pounds of meat was not on my agenda)
after that new year's getaway we came home and settled in for an evening of mini family partying.
watched some movies,
i ate some snacks,
sipped some sparkling beverage,
then the countdown began.
i internet streamed the ball drop from nyc (which made my heart lonesome).
after we watched it we ran outside to see the provo made firework show.
we had a little firework show of our own planned.
3 fireworks to be exact.
anymore we would have been frozen to death....
mares valiantly stayed up til midnight.
it was spectacular in every way.
we also gave mares a new years gift to replace her germ infested marshmallow olaf.
i am looking forward to 2015.
we have no idea where our family will be this next year.
it's exhilarating and a bit sketchy.
i can't wait to meet this little one.
every day i get more excited; because every day i love mary more and i can't wait to love love another little.
i already love this mini so much.
it's really remarkable our ability to love- looking forward to 2015.
happy new year everyone!
hope 2015 brings you goodness.
