the christmas trees of nyc

all the major landmarks/parks adorn a christmas tree for the season.
here they are in all their splendor.
1. lincoln center tree

rather miniature compared to other trees but lovely in it's location
(plus photo bombers come free)

2. origami tree @the american museum of natural history

seriously impressive in every way

every ornament is made of paper

bears, dinosaurs, elephants, every animal on the block

impressive (plus it's in a warm place....)

3. the metroplitian museum of art tree

one of the only Christ themed trees i saw

a beautiful representation of the nativity

 (the real reason for christmas)

in a beautiful location 

with other beautiful things to see on your trek to the tree

4. park ave. miles of trees

those small trees in the middle of the street go from 48th to 97th street

2.5 miles of christmas tree extravaganza

5. bryant park tree

my 3rd favorite tree

background includes a stunning view of the empire state building

right next to an ice rink (which feels more christmas any who)

neighbor to the impressive new york city library

6. wall street cheer

this may be my favorite tree

location is everything

you can't beat wall street for quaint city enclosed splendor

plenty of other christmas decor along the walk to this beauty

massive and beautiful in every way

7. the grand daddy of all trees; the rockefeller plaza tree

all the stops were pulled out for this tree

only reason it may be 2nd best is because it's crazy busy

no ornaments, just perfect light placement

humongous.

these are some of the most impressive, must see trees of nyc. around every corner you will see impressive trees. if you ever ponder a trip to nyc you may want to keep early december in mind. there is nothing quite like nyc at christmas time. 

i was not disappointed. 

holiday cheer meter went up 100 fold.
