a b-day recap

mares and i adventured on her annual anniversary. here is the result:

step 1: fall fest in the city @ madison square park-

all inclusive face painting, a pumpkin patch, free treats/food, a craft station (mares made a pumpkin and some sketch art glasses all by "herself"....), a band, a gigantic stilts clown, and hundreds of whipper snappers in their costumes. (what more could a girl ask for in a birthday party- although we didn't partake of it all)

 step 2: ride the carousel at central park (since every time we go by it she looks at it in longingly)

step 3: cure her post carousel depression

step 4: found the cure to carousel depression- a mary sized cake of chocolaty perfection. (from her mother's favorite reality t.v. bake shop)

step 5: bask in birthday glory

very grateful to have this teeny perfect lady in our world. best decision ever made. happy belated 1st via the blog mini.
