a man that goes by banksy
banksy=intriguing.
an unknown artist that goes around cities and creates crazy pieces of work using different mediums (most often spray paint).
for the month of october he is visiting none other than nyc. i have been following his plays on this site: http://www.banksyny.com/
yesterday i took to the streets to see one of his murals. here it is (sadly i was too late to avoid the inevitable graffiti on graffiti)
now i am anti graffiti. but you can't help but find banksy interesting. something inside me believes or wants to believe he talks to some of these owners beforehand. the owner of this building was out by the painting and had placed a piece of plastic over the mural to protect it. (if you look real close you can tell). - - i don't see many owners doing that to graffiti unless they kinda like whatever was spray painted.
seems like something from a movie- banksy- - 9 more days, what will you do?
