st. patricks day in nyc

happy st. patrick's day!
i had a feeling nyc had something special in store for this holiday.
another parade naturally.
it was freezing so we didn't stay for the whole 4+ hours
but we got a grand taste of bagpipes and kilts (and alcohol drinking parade viewers of course)....
green is one lovely color to dress this city in

until the wind chill factor destroyed her focus

and rosied her cheeks 

 5th avenue aligned with st. paddy's day cheer 

 nothing finer to ring in this holiday than bagpipes and kilts

 folks for blocks
