ok nyc

soooo i love nyc, but lately people have really been driving me nuts. crazy nuts.
i've seen a few things i don't care if i ever see again but i don't want to forget. -which really doesn't make sense.-
we went to the park on sunday.
just a light leisurely stroll.
allowed mary some park freedom.
this freedom turned x promptly.
she's frolicking in the fields of toddler glory and we see her approaching this tree.
at this tree is a full grown man urinating.
no shame- no mind for public appropriateness-
apparently he doesn't care about potentially exposing himself to small children either.
which is wrong- soooo wrong.
hey crap face don't pee in public.
and don't inappropriately share yourself with the innocent population.
monday we went to the park again.
dale was being a kind gentleman and was pushing our stroller.
when we happen upon a full human roadblock on the sidewalk.
just a group of adults being very inconsiderate of everyone else that needed to use the sidewalk.
we walk past and dale barely taps this woman's heel.
her immediate reaction was to push dale.....
oh no you didn't woman.
wanna light a fire in me- mess with my man or my child and i can be all sorts of monster.
luckily dale stood up for himself before i lost my mind.
said he didn't do it on purpose.
when she was relentless he brought to her attention that they had no right taking up the whole sidewalk.
and then i threw in a not so gentle reminder that you can't just push people- come on woman.
how many times do people run into other people in nyc-
it's unavoidable-  come on- are you in a city bubble?
last time i checked my first reaction to a shoulder graze or a ran over foot wasn't to push someone.
and just because you're wealthy doesn't excuse you from common courtesy-
if anything you, ohhh rich one, should be more polite than we your poor common folk.
but i've discovered that the wealthy believe they are excused from a lot of things
and earth to you, you're not.
money doesn't give you a right to treat others poorly.
-crazy rant over....on this subject......-
perhaps i should avoid the park....
because this morning i was meeting up with a friend to workout and i had another fine human encounter.
i hear these men saying something like get on out of there to something.
i look over and there is a raccoon.
come on people a raccoon in real life in central park=photo op!
i lost my chance once before and i was not going to lose it again.
then here comes this woman ranting about something.
my ears become aware of what she's saying-
she's yelling at me for taking a picture of a raccoon in central park....
"you're taking home video over there."
"leave that poor creature alone."
"are you sick taking pictures of that poor raccoon."
-shut it woman-
me, "are you kidding me woman?"
"i took a picture without flash and i took no video."
"really woman"
"you're joking right?"
"oh and woman i know i know more about animals than you do."
-better shut your trap before i unleash fury for unreasonable chastisement-
give me a break crazy.
**may be my proudest picture to date**
is it crazy season around here?
seriously though, these chain of events, in this short a period of time, and then my previous rant about crazy people.... it's been 2 weeks from crazy people hell.
i wish y'all would keep your opinions to yourselves.
i also wish someone would have raised you to be commonly decent people- because come on.
so i swear nyc is incredible, but let's be honest, when you get 8 million people (probably close to 9ish when tourists come) together madness is bound to happen.
usually it's beautiful madness, but here are a few instances in which i was just fed up.... and well i needed to get it out. get it out or loose my mind.
happy midweek everyone- please avoid all crazies and keep your sanity.
