central park nightmare
now mary has been extra cute but to counter balance this extra cuteness she has been extra spicy
fit throwing has become one of her go to activities
fancy this would come at a time when she is doing some incredibly cute things
the other day we had a nightmare park visit
so just to be realistic i decided not to just post the happy side of nyc
here's how this nightmare went down
i decided to take mary to central park
(hoping this would be the result)
which i thought would end well
it didn't
she was pushing the stroller and i tried to help her push it up a massive big hill
independent child being assisted=the worst possible option ever
it had rained....
it was about to rain again.....
she didn't want to wear her shoes for some weird reason.....
she didn't want to, nor would she, sit in her stroller (she's crazy strong when angry)....
i couldn't put her down on account of her hating her shoes- and it being wet-
she was screaming
she was a pro back bender and contortionist
pedestrians were inconveniently surrounding the exact areas we were passing by
i became a master football kid carrier and one handed stroller finagler
imagine me, mary (as a football in one arm) screaming and struggling and endangering her life, pushing a stroller through the pedestrian inhabited streets and park trails for a half mile in the rain, in nyc.....
and we have decided to never go to the park again.
