fleet week nyc

this past week was fleet week.
a week celebrating those that serve our country.
they do awesome demonstrations and allow people to tour their ships.
we were lucky to experience such an opportunity.
it was incredible.
thank you a million times over for all those that so unselfishly serve this country.
here are a few pictures of the magnificent vessel we had the choice opportunity to tour.

 tricky stair ramps gave me a new respect for our service men/women

it was an incredibly cool/humbling experience

 this was another ship you could tour

mary and ivy were getting a bit restless so we didn't get the opportunity

 lovely

 all of us together- in a shadow mob

this ship was massive. 

impressive. 

not only was the ship impressive but everything on board was something else. 

tanks, air crafts, trucks, machines i have never seen before.... it was awesome. 

thank you very much for taking the time to let us see your ship. 

i am very grateful for all you have done and will do.
