motherhood

this is my second mother's day.
mother is the title that is most endearing to me.
there's no word sweeter than mama from a baby.
i am grateful to be a mother.
grateful for my mother and for every woman that was a second mother to me.
being a mother has made me look at others differently.
i have more love for strangers because i know they are someone else's baby.
i have become more patient because i see someone's child and i think of my own.
mary you have shown me how the simplest of things are magnificent.
you, my daughter, have filled my world with a million tiny beauties.
the hardest part of being a mother is seeing it go by to fast- seeing that tiny baby become a toddler.
my arms ache for my baby mary and she's only 1 1/2..... i can't imagine in years....

motherhood has filled me with a consuming type of love. 

a love i have never felt before. 

a completely unselfish type of love. 

a fill me up and brim over kind of love. 

an i love every single speck of you kind of love.

an infinite love.
