norwalk
yesterday we took to connecticut.
amanda, josh, and ivy came into town (dale's sister and family.)
norwalk was the town.
train rides were our means of transportation.
lucky for us we chose the wrong stop.
the wrong stop by 4.5 miles.
the next bus wasn't for an hour and a half.... longer than the amount of time it would take us to walk.
so we walked.
we got a little cocky about our nyc lifestyle.
we walked to grand central from our house so what's 4.5 miles....
now i am a firm believer that the best way to see a city is to walk it-
but perhaps 2 miles or maybe 2.5 miles.
but we took to the streets.
we had to stop 3 times.
1. dairy king- ice cream for all those calories we were burning a half mile into our "walk"
2. 7/11 for a big gulp- because 2 miles into our walk we were about to die of thirst.
3. a second hand child's clothing store- because cheap clothing is a must stop on a walkabout.
we had some other fine adventures after meeting up with the crew.
here are some pics of how norwalk really lived up to it's walking name.
